Standard Sanguine Drawing 400mm*500mm £125 //
When I started drawing my sanguine portraits, the standard size was 400 by 500mm. This size allows room for detail and for the portrait to “breathe”. However, on request I now also draw A3 and A4 sizes. Generally, these are easier to find frames for and most people are familiar with these sizes.
Prices for all the styles and sizes can be found here. I haven’t published a price for the standard size in colour, so if you are interested in this then please get in touch.
How it works:
Please read the Photography Checklist and send me some (usually between 3 and 10) images and a little information about your preferences. If you only have a single picture to work from (eg, it’s a posthumous gesture or a surprise present) then I will always do my best to accommodate and I haven’t had a dissatisfied customer yet (at least, they haven’t told me so!).
Images can be sent by email to firstname.lastname@example.org or use my uploader. The uploader allows a maximum file size of 10Mb. If your images are larger then you can easily compress them using Compressor – an easy online facility.
I will then review the images and with your agreement (and a 50% deposit) I will commence work on our chosen picture.
Depending on my workload I will usually complete the drawing in somewhere between 4 days and 3 weeks. Please let me know if it is for a special occasion and I’ll try to hurry things up! When finished, I will email you a jpeg for approval and once the balance is settled, I will carefully overlay the drawing with glassine paper and pack for delivery to you by Parcel Force.
What you get:
- – A pastel pencil drawing on Strathmore Velvet Grey paper (chosen size)
– Laid over with glassine paper and packed in sturdy cardboard tube for large drawings, or rigid envelope for A4.
– UK Delivery by Parcel Force
International delivery can be arranged but will incur an extra fee (for large drawings this is approx $22 to USA and $16 to Europe)
